Status
RESULT_NETWORK_ERROR — the phone received the job but Android could not send over cellular.
- Check mobile signal (SMS needs cellular, not Wi‑Fi alone)
- Turn airplane mode off; toggle mobile data / restart radio
- Carriers may block bare 6-digit OTP text — use the OTP template (spaced code) not raw digits in freeform send
- Send to a different number — not the same SIM’s own number
- Confirm the stock Messages app can send SMS to that number
- Keep SMS Gateway app Online and disable battery restrictions for it
OTP template
Pick a template, enter the code — Message shows the SMS body. Codes are spaced (e.g. 123 456) to reduce carrier filtering of bare 6-digit OTP text.
